Neighbourhood Watch Scotland had a fantastic day at the BT Digital Voice drop-in event at the Old Parish Centre (Cupar Old Parish Church), speaking with local residents about the upcoming digital switchover, what it means for them, and where they can find support and advice.
It was great to see such a strong turnout, with plenty of thoughtful questions, positive discussions, and opportunities to provide reassurance and practical guidance.
Our team also spent time out and about in the beautiful local area, including Collessie, delivering BT Digital Voice and Neighbourhood Watch Scotland leaflets to help keep residents informed and prepared for the changes ahead, while raising awareness of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland and the ways local residents can help build safer, stronger and more connected communities.
And importantly thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by, chat with us, and share their questions and experiences. It was a pleasure to meet so many local residents and connect with the community.
Important reminder: BT, EE and Plusnet customers will be moved to Digital Voice by January 2027. The old analogue phone network is being switched off and replaced with digital landlines that work using broadband. Please follow any guidance from your provider and take action when contacted to help avoid disruption to your service.
