Weekend Community Policing Update – Dunfermline

 

Good afternoon, 

 

Officers carried out a number of proactive patrols and enforcement activities across Dunfermline over the weekend, resulting in several positive outcomes.

 

Officers continued to focus their attention on the Bus Station and surrounding streets, with no calls or reports of disorder. 

 

The following is a breif snapshot of how our weekend went; 

 

In the early hours of Saturday morning, officers stopped and searched an 18-year-old man on Izatt Avenue. Class A and Class B drugs worth approximately £500 were recovered, and he was reported for drug dealing offences.

 

On Saturday night, a 25-year-old man was reported for being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs after officers recovered Class A and Class B drugs with an estimated street value of just under £2,000.

 

Also on Saturday night, a 25-year-old woman was issued with a fixed penalty notice after being found drinking alcohol on Guildhall Street. Also, a 40-year-old man was issued with a fixed penalty notice for urinating in public near Dunfermline Bus Station.

 

We will continue to carry out patrols in and around the City Centre over the course of the next few weeks.
