Happy Friday 😊 My apologies for the delay in sending out my email. I had a fabulous weekend at the Border’s Union Show and have been playing catch up ever since.

Border’s union show….. WOW! What a fantastic event! Kelso you should be so proud. The organisation, atmosphere and the variety made for a truly enjoyable day. It was clear how much hard work and dedication goes into making the event such a success. 

A massive thank you from me to the NFU, NFU Mutual and the SRUC for the fabulous hospitality and allowing me to pitch up at you’re tents and speak away to anyone who would have me at their table. Many thanks again! 

On to business 

SCOTTISH BORDERS 

A Mitsubishi 4×4 Pickup and a Blue Yamaha quad bike have been stolen from a farm in Gala. If afraid I don’t have any suspects details for you at this stage. 

In Selkirk, a farm had a Honda quad bike stolen overnight. The quad was fitted with a tracker which activated and allowed Police to recover and return the quad to the owner. 

MID LOTHIAN 

Dalkeith country park had a generator stolen during the County show. Again, I have no suspect information for you just now.
