About 9 Alert 9 🐾 Celebrate National Pet Day with Neighbourhood Watch Scotland!

Dear {FIRST_NAME},

11 April 2026

Today is National Pet Day and and it’s the perfect opportunity to recognise the wonderful companions who bring joy, comfort, and companionship into our lives.

Here at Neighbourhood Watch Scotland, we know how much our pets mean to us whether they have fur, feathers, fins, scales, or shells and we would love to celebrate them together.

A Special Shout‑Out to Dogs Trust

As an organisation full of animal lovers, we are delighted that one of our team members volunteers with Dogs Trust, supporting the incredible staff who work tirelessly to care for dogs of all kinds. Their dedication and kindness ensure every dog receives the love, attention, and support they deserve and it reflects just how much pets are valued within our NWS community.

To find out more about their work, support their mission, or explore volunteering and rehoming opportunities, visit:

We would also like to highlight the vital work of the Scottish SPCA, who champion animal welfare across Scotland and support animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming:

If you are considering welcoming a new pet into your home, these and other organisations are there to help guide you every step of the way ensuring pets are matched with loving, responsible homes and supported for the future.
