The following Alert is being circulated on behalf of SGN
We’re working to upgrade our gas network in the Tamfourhill Road area of Falkirk.
In agreement with the local authority, our project will start on Monday 3 April and last approximately 16 weeks.
By upgrading our gas network in the area, we’ll continue to keep Falkirk homes and businesses safe and warm long into the future.
We’re carrying out our work in phases to minimise disruption to the local community as much as possible.
During the first two weeks of our project two way traffic lights will be erected in Tamfourhill Road where we’re working, in week three, 4 way temporary traffic signals will be in place.
The following parking restrictions will also be in place:
Tamfourhill Road
Lime Road
Kilbrennan Drive
Brodick Place
Cumbrae Drive
Glenfield Road
Kintyre Place
Summerford
Glenfuir Road
Access will be given to driveways and entrance gates at all times unless previously agreed with the occupier.
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout our works.
Our colleagues will be keeping to social distancing guidelines on our sites, and we’d ask communities to keep their distance too.
We’ve written to residents and other local stakeholders to make them aware of our project and explain the details of our work. Please feel free to also share this information with anyone you think may be impacted by our project.
