This has been progressing well and we will be entering our final phase, as planned, on Monday 9 January 2023 for 12 weeks.I had previously indicated that this final phase would perhaps require a road closure and I am now able to share further details which we have agreed with Moray Council. See attached map.There will be a series of one-way systems/prohibition of waiting on Newlands Lane between Harbour Street and High Street for the 12 week period.Starting the from 30 January 2023 for four weeks we will also have a section of Newlands Lane closed from the junction with the High Street with a diversion via East Church/Shanks Lane. At this time we will also be working on a section of the High Street and there will be a prohibition of waiting opposite Newlands Lane.We’re writing to residents and other local stakeholders to update them and explain the details of our work. We will also work closely with residents and businesses in the area to ensure we minimise disruption as much as possible.Please feel free to also share this information with anyone you think may be impacted by our project.
