I’m writing to let you know our plans to carry out a just over £1m project in South Ayr to ensure the local community continues to receive a safe and reliable gas supply for many years to come.
Our engineers will begin work on Tuesday 9 May. Work will take around 11 months to complete and will be carried out in phases to minimise disruption as much as possible. We’ve worked together with Ayrshire Roads Alliance to plan any necessary traffic management.
Details of our work to be carried out is shown on the attached bespoke leaflet which we’ve created for residents.
We wish to assure you that our work will progress as quickly as possible and we’ll be doing everything we can to limit delays and disruption and to ensure the project remains on schedule, working extended hours or at weekends as required. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.
We’re writing to residents and other local stakeholders to make them aware of our project and explain the details of our work. Please feel free to also share this information with anyone you think may be impacted by our project.
