The following Alert is being circulated on behalf of SGN
We’ll be carrying out emergency repairs to our gas network in Moss Road, Glasgow, from Wednesday 12 April.
For everyone’s safety we need to close Moss Road at its junction with the A739. This closure will affect all road users travelling to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Govan via Moss Road.
Motorists leaving the hospital will be unaffected however, all motorists travelling to the hospital via Moss Road will be diverted as follows:
· M8 Eastbound traffic: Helen Street – Harmony Row – Golspie Street – Govan Road
· M8 Westbound/Berryknowes Road traffic: Fifty Pitches Road – A8 Shieldhall Road – Renfrew Road
· A8 Shieldhall Road traffic: Langlands Road – Drive Road – Govan Road
· A739 Traffic: A739 Clyde Tunnel – A814 Victoria Park Drive South – A739 Clyde Tunnel – Govan Road
We know this is a busy route, so we’re working as safely and quickly as we can to complete our work. We’re also working extended hours.
