Officers are appealing for information after a horsebox and a trailer were stolen from a premises in Aberdeenshire.
The theft is believed to have happened around 8.30pm on Saturday, 24 January, 2026, from a premises on Banff Road, just north of Turriff on the A947.
The horsebox is described as a dark blue Peugeot Boxer Saris with a number plate of OV66 NKE.
The trailer is described as a silver aluminium Brian James Trailer. It has a distinctive indentation on the left-hand side of the bed of the trailer and a bend on the same side of the railing. The number plate is SV69 JPY.
Sergeant Richard Jones said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw something suspicious to come forward and speak to officers.
“I’d also ask that those who have private CCTV or dash-cam footage review this and see if it has captured anything that could assist our investigation.”
