Stress Awareness Week

About 9 Alert 9 Stress Awareness Week

At Neighbourhood Watch Scotland we know that creating stronger, safer communities doesn’t just mean looking out for our neighbours – it also means looking out for ourselves.

Stress manifests itself differently for everyone and sometimes it’s not easy to pin down exactly what stress means.

One of the many organisations who provide helpful and supportive advice around managing stress is SAMH, Scottish Action for Mental Health. SAMH have produced a Stress Awareness Guide which can be accessed by clicking on the link below.

In Stress Awareness Week, we’d like to remind everyone that whether it’s a short breath of fresh air in between the demands of life, or checking in with someone you know about how you are both doing, small acts of self-care and mindfulness are so important.

Please be kind to your mind.

Best wishes, your Neighbourhood Watch Scotland team.
