About 9 Alert 9 Bonfire Night – Supporting Young People to Stay Safe

Ahead of Bonfire Night, the independent charity Crimestoppers’ youth service Fearless, along with Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, have produced a short video which provides clear, informative, and supportive advice to keep each other safe across this period.

Whilst the video is aimed at young people, the information can be used to help keep everyone safe and it can be accessed by clicking on the link attached below.

Additionally, Crimestoppers have also launched their campaign for the bonfire period – Scotland Fireworks 2025 | Crimestoppers to raise awareness of the importance of keeping emergency service workers safe across this period.

Please feel free to share the video and firework safety information and let’s work together to ensure that Bonfire Night is safe, respectful and enjoyable for all members of our communities.
