This post is to let you all know about two up coming bike marking and security events – 

Saturday 24 January 2026 @ Evans Bike Shop Edinburgh, now located at Lochrin Basin at the end of Union Canal off Fountainbridge. 

Police Scotland will be marking bikes between 10.00 – 15.00

also 

Thursday 29 January 2026 @ Connaught Place, Leith, between Ferry Rd and the Water of Leith

We’ll be there between 16.00 – 18.00 marking bikes, along with Roads Policing and representatives from Lothian Buses, City of Edinburgh Active travel team and Cycle Law Scotland.

The kits we use are from www.bikeregister.com – and the service is free of charge there will also be other security information available.
